UCLA Colorado preview
No. 22 UCLA stayed true to form as they won another game in sloppy fashion. They defeated Colorado, 40-37, in double overtime to improve to 6-2.
The Bruins held a 31-14 lead at the end of the third quarter, but Colorado came back before falling to the Bruins. UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley threw for 200 yards and a touchdown pass on 24-of-39 passing, and he added 110 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Running back Paul Perkins steamrolled the Buffaloes defense as he ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries as UCLA totaled 309 rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Arizona is looking to stay in the college football playoff hunt. Although it is a long shot at this point, they still have only one loss and would be undefeated if not for a missed field goal against USC.
They put on an offensive clinic last week against Washington State as they won, 59-37. Quarterback Anu Solomon threw for 294 yards and five touchdown passes on 26-of-38 passing.
Both Arizona and UCLA have proven to have prolific offenses with shaky defenses, so look for this game to be a shootout. Solomon can hang with Hundley, but Perkins has proven to be a superior running back to anyone Arizona has.
Prediction: UCLA 35, Arizona 31
