No. 19 Arizona improved their record to 7-2 as they beat Colorado, 38-20. Colorado fell to 2-8, which marks the worst record in the Pac-12.
The Wildcats received a fight from the Buffaloes as they trailed, 17-14, in the second quarter. However, the Wildcats took a 21-17 lead before halftime and never lost their lead since.
Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon threw for 211 yards and four touchdown passes on 21-of-38 passing, and he rushed for a season-high 105 yards on 13 carries.
Running back Nick Wilson ran for 153 yards on 21 carries as wide receiver Samajie Grant led the Wildcats in receiving with six receptions for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau passed for 252 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions on 24-of-33 passing. He also caught a seven-yard touchdown pass from wide receiver Nelson Spruce.
Freshman running back Phillip Lindsay had his best game of the season with 114 yards on 17 carries, and wide receiver Shay Fields caught five passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.
