No. 19 Arizona is coming off a minor upset loss to No. 18 UCLA, and they fell to 6-2 while being held to seven points. The Wildcats have lost two of their last three games after pulling off a huge upset win over No. 4 Oregon.
Quarterback Anu Solomon looked awful against the Bruins as he was held to 175 yards on 18-of-48 passing with a touchdown and an interception, and he was completely unable to generate any sort of offense after an early first-quarter touchdown pass.
The Wildcats running game also had a forgettable performance with just 80 rushing yards. Arizona will look to recover with a win against Colorado, who is the worst team in the Pac-12 along with Washington State.
The Buffaloes lost their fifth game in a row as they fell, 38-23, against Washington. The Buffaloes appeared primed for an upset against the Huskies as they held a 23-17 lead early in the third quarter, but they allowed 21 unanswered points.
Quarterback Sefo Liufau had a solid performance with 314 yards and two touchdowns with an interception on 36-of-52 passing, but he threw a crucial pick-six that gave the Huskies a 31-23 lead in the third quarter.
The Buffaloes defense ranks 118th in the nation with 38.7 points allowed per game, so the Wildcats will be too much for them like just about every other Pac-12 team.
Prediction: Arizona 42, Colorado 21
