The #3 Auburn Tigers host the Texas A&M Aggies in Week 11 of College Football.
After pulling the road upset over Ole Miss last week, the Auburn Tigers are riding high as they start their final month of games that also include road games against the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama in the Iron Bowl. QB Nick Marshall is a Heisman trophy sleeper candidate and has proven that his ability to make plays with both his arm and his legs are among the best in college football. Marshall’s offensive prowess has enabled the team to overcome a stretch where the defense has given up over 100 points in just three games.
Texas A&M has had to change QBs from now-suspended QB Kenny Hill to freshman Kyle Allen. Allen won his first start against LA-Monroe, but in the SEC the team has struggled, going 0-3 in their last 3 games against SEC opponents. And with games against Missouri and LSU still on the schedule after this game, head coach Kevin Sumlin might be very tempted to listen to NFL offers if the team disappoints the rest of the way.
Prediction: Tigers – Auburn is back at home and has yet to score fewer than 40 points in any home game this season against any opponent – FCS or SEC. With Nick Marshall leading one of the best offenses in the country, the Tigers should roll over Texas A&M before facing off against Georgia next week.
