The Michigan State Spartans redeemed themselves from a home loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes with a 37-15 win against the Maryland Terrapins.

Michigan State Ohio State preview
No. 12 Michigan State recovered from a heartbreaking loss to Ohio State with a 37-15 road win against Maryland. The Spartans improved their record to 8-2 as the Terrapins fell to 6-4.
Spartans running back Jeremy Langford led the way for the Spartans offense by rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. The Spartans were able to control the clock thanks to their rushing attack, which totaled 242 yards.
Quarterback Connor Cook threw for 240 yards on 14-of-31 passing but did not throw a single touchdown pass. The defense also performed fantastically as it held the Terrapins to 252 total yards.
Safety R.J. Williamson scored a touchdown after snagging an interception.
For the Terrapins, quarterback C.J. Brown threw for 246 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions on 20-of-43 passing.
Maryland’s running game completely sputtered as the Terrapins were only able to come up with six rushing yards.
Wide receiver Juwann Winfree came up with four receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown.
