The Wisconsin Badgers improved to 9-2 with a 26-24 win against the Iowa Hawkeyes as running back Melvin Gordon ran for 200 yards.

No. 16 Wisconsin came away with their sixth win in a row as they defeated Iowa, 26-24. They held on after Iowa trimmed the lead to two with five minutes remaining.
Badgers running back Melvin Gordon was not able to repeat his historic game, but he rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries.
Backup quarterback Tanner McEvoy added 62 rushing yards and a touchdown on six carries. Starting quarterback Joel Stave performed efficiently as he threw for 139 yards on 11-of-14 passing.
Gordon also contributed in the receiving game in a rare occurrence as he caught four passes for 64 yards.
For the Hawkeyes, quarterback Jake Rudock threw for 311 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-30 passing. The running game was unable to get a rhythm going as they were held to 101 total rushing yards on 28 carries.
Wide receiver Tevaun Smith led the Hawkeyes in receiving with four receptions for 78 yards, and tight end Jake Duzey added four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown.
