No. 2 Oregon kept their national title hopes alive as they cruised to a 44-10 victory over Colorado, and their record is now 10-1. The Buffaloes fell to 2-9 with their loss.
The Ducks held the lead for the entire game and buried the Buffaloes at halftime with a 30-3 lead.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota put together another Heisman-caliber performance as he threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns on 24-of-32 passing, and he added 73 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
Running back Royce Freeman rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Fellow running back Byron Marshall led the Ducks in receiving with four catches for 65 yards.
For the Buffaloes, quarterback Sefo Liufau received limited action and was held to 41 passing yards with a touchdown pass before backup Jordan Gehrke stepped in.
Running back Christian Powell led the team in rushing with 51 yards on five carries, and Phillip Lindsay added another 49 yards on 11 carries.
Wide receiver Nelson Spruce, who has reached 100 receiving yards five times this season, was held to two catches for 16 yards.
