No. 2 Oregon is headed to the Pac-12 championship game with an 11-1 after making a statement win on the road against Oregon State with a score of 47-19.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota put the final nail in the coffin of every other college football player’s Heisman Trophy campaign as he totaled six touchdowns against the Beavers.
He threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 39 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Running back Royce Freeman rushed for 135 yards on 22 carries.
Running back Byron Marshall led the Ducks in receiving with 131 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. Wide receiver Charles Nelson made two catches for 56 yards and made both of them count for touchdowns.
For the Beavers, quarterback Sean Mannion threw for 162 yards and a touchdown on 19-of-39 passing.
Running back Storm Woods rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries while also leading the Beavers in receiving with 58 yards on six catches.
