The Utah Utes finished their regular season with an 8-4 record after holding off an upset by the Colorado Buffaloes and winning, 38-34.

No. 25 Utah survived a serious upset bid from Colorado as they held on for a 38-34 win to improve their record to 8-4. The Buffaloes held a 34-28 lead in the third quarter, but the Utes finished strong with 10 unanswered points.
Wide receiver Dominique Hatfield essentially sealed the victory for Utah with a pick-six.
Utah quarterback Travis Wilson had his best game of the season with 311 passing yards and three touchdowns on 25-of-37 passing.
Running back Devontae Booker ran for 95 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, and wide receiver Kaelin Clay caught 10 passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
For the Buffaloes, quarterback Sefo Liufau resumed his role as a full-time starter and threw for 317 yards and a touchdown pass with an interception.
Running back Christian Powell rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns on just 10 carries.
Wide receivers Tyler McCulloch and Nelson Spruce each made significant contributions as well. McCulloch led the Buffaloes in receiving with 101 yards on four catches, and Spruce caught five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.
