The Arizona Wildcats and the Arizona State Sun Devils are set to face off for Rivalry Week, and they are both hoping to improve to 10-2.

No. 11 Arizona is hoping to win the Pac-12 South, and they will have to beat No. 13 Arizona State to keep their hopes alive. Both teams will also need No. 8 UCLA to lose to Stanford, or both teams will be eliminated from Pac-12 title contention.
The Wildcats flexed their muscles in their most recent game with a 42-10 blowout win over Utah, who was ranked No. 17 at the time.
The defense came up with two touchdowns as running back Nick Wilson steamrolled a physical Utah defense with a 218 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.
Quarterback Anu Solomon did not play in the second half against Utah, and he is questionable for Friday’s game with an ankle injury. However, the Sun Devils are likely expecting him to play and game planning for him.
The Wildcats are likely to be in a shootout with the Sun Devils, who scored 52 points in their most recent victory against Washington State.
Quarterback Taylor Kelly threw four touchdown passes, and running back D.J. Foster rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.
The Sun Devils had a key injury of their own when they lost to Oregon State as wide receiver Jaelen Strong suffered a concussion and sat out against Washington State, but he is expected to return against the Wildcats.
