Wisconsin Iowa preview
No. 14 Wisconsin is hoping to finish the regular season strong with their seventh win a row and a 10-2 record with a win against No. 18 Minnesota.
The Badgers were able to escape with a road win against Iowa as running back Melvin Gordon rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries.
Quarterback Joel Stave performed efficiently as he completed 11-of-14 of his passes for 139 yards, and Gordon led the Badgers in receiving with four catches for 64 yards.
The Badgers blew out Nebraska when they were ranked 16th in the nation, so that bodes well for their chances against the Gophers.
The Gophers achieved a road win against Nebraska after rallying from a 24-14 to improve to 8-3, and quarterback Mitch Leidner rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
Running back David Cobb rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. The Gophers have lost to Illinois, but their other two losses came against national title contenders in TCU and Ohio State.
The Badgers’ rushing attack will ultimately prove to be too much for the Gophers though.
Prediction: Wisconsin 34, Minnesota 20
