No. 6 Ohio State is in prime position to win the Big Ten title, and they may be able to sneak into the playoff if they win out. All that stands in their way before the Big Ten championship is a home game against Michigan.
The Buckeyes struggled somewhat in their previous game against Indiana, but they came away with a 42-27 win as quarterback J.T. Barrett threw four touchdown passes.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott had his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season.
Meanwhile, Michigan is likely to be kicked out of bowl contention since they are 5-6, and a road upset against Ohio State is highly unlikely.
The Wolverines lost at home to Maryland, 23-16, and quarterback Devin Gardner was held to 106 passing yards with an interception.
Head coach Brady Hoke is fighting for his life, which will likely end in Michigan with another disappointing season. It will take a win against Ohio State for him to survive another year.
The Buckeyes will simply be too much for an underachieving Wolverines team though.
Prediction: Ohio State 42, Michigan 17
