The USC Trojans defeated the Oregon State Beavers to put an upset loss to Boston College behind them and improve their record to 3-1.

USC beats Fresno State – USC defeats Fresno State, 52-13
No. 18 USC was looking to avenge an upset loss to Boston College, and they were able to do so as they defeated Oregon State, 35-10.
Although the Beavers took a 10-7 lead in the second quarter, the Trojans were able to score 28 unanswered points en route to a victory, and they improved to 3-1 as the Beavers fell to 3-1.
The Trojans got the ball rolling with a pick-six by safety Su’a Cravens, but the Beavers instantly bit back with a kick return touchdown by safety Ryan Murphy.
As time in the first half expired, Trojans wide receiver Darreus Rogers caught a Hail Mary pass for a 48-yard touchdown. The Trojans scored their last two touchdowns of the game in the fourth quarter.
USC quarterback Cody Kessler continued to take good care of the ball as he threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns on 26-of-34 passing.
Running back Javorius Allen bounced back and rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Justin Davis added another 82 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion was held to 123 yards and two interceptions on 15-of-32 passing. Running back Storm Woods rushed for 61 yards on nine carries.
