The Wisconsin Badgers got off to a slow start against the South Florida Bulls but put it behind them and won, 27-10.

No. 19 Wisconsin appeared to be on the verge of possibly getting upset by South Florida when they were tied 3-3 at halftime. However, they were able to pull away in the third quarter with a 20-10 lead.
They sealed their win as they took a 27-10 lead in the fourth quarter. Running back Melvin Gordon received the heaviest workload of his Wisconsin career as he carried the ball 32 times for 181 yards and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Tanner McEvoy looked efficient as he completed 11-of-18 of his passes for 160 yards and a touchdown pass, and wide receiver Alex Erickson caught six passes for 91 yards.
The Badgers defense also shined as they held the Bulls to 245 total yards. Quarterback Mike White looked shaky as he threw for 173 yards and an interception on 8-of-19 passing.
Running back Marlon Mack was held to 34 yards on 10 carries. Wide receiver Kennard Swenson caught a 52-yard pass and finished with two catches for 74 yards.
