No. 19 Wisconsin has been on a roll since losing to No. 17 LSU, and they are looking to continue their momentum against South Florida.
The Badgers stomped Bowling Green, 68-17, last week as they totaled 644 rushing yards. This marked a Big Ten record, and Melvin Gordon vaunted himself back into the Heisman discussion with 253 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries.
Quarterback Tanner McEvoy participated in this dominant rushing attack with 158 yards and a touchdown, and running back Corey Clement added another 111 yards and two touchdowns.
South Florida held Connecticut to 44 rushing yards in a 17-14 victory, but the Badgers will provide a major test. Their defense that ranks 93rd in the country with 29.5 points per game allowed will also be put to their biggest test of the season.
Bulls running back Marlon Mack rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown last week, but he will have to take on a Wisconsin defense that ranks 13th with 16 points allowed a game.
If the Badgers can establish their running game again, they should have no problem putting South Florida away.
Prediction: Wisconsin 45, South Florida 14
