Florida State Oklahoma State preview
No. 24 Oklahoma State has jumped into the rankings since going on a two-game winning streak following a close loss to No. 1 Florida State.
The Cowboys are coming off a 43-13 win over UTSA, and they are set to play their first Big 12 game against Texas Tech. Quarterback Daxx Garman shined with 316 yards and two touchdowns.
Starting running back Desmond Roland returned from an injury and rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.
The Red Raiders suffered their first loss of the season to Arkansas as their run defense was gashed for 438 yards and seven touchdowns.
They will look to hold Roland, but their defense ranks 112th in the country with 36.7 points allowed per game, and their job won’t get any easier against a solid Cowboys offense.
Quarterback Davis Webb can keep the Red Raiders in a shootout though, as he has thrown 10 touchdown passes this season. However, he will need to limit the turnovers since he already has four interceptions.
This game will turn into a Big 12 offense shootout, but the Cowboys have the tools and home-field advantage to survive.
Prediction: Oklahoma State 35, Texas Tech 28
