The Florida State Seminoles continued to establish themselves as the No. 1 team as they defeated the Syracuse Orange, 38-20.

No. 1 Florida State put together another dominant performance as they beat Syracuse, 38-20. They held a lead throughout the entire game and all but wrapped it up in the third quarter with a 31-6 lead.
Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston had his best game of the season as he threw for 317 yards and three touchdown passes on 30-of-36 passing.
Running back Dalvin Cook also had an impressive game as he ran for 122 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. Mario Pender added another 46 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Wide receiver Rashad Greene continued to be Winston’s top receiving weapon as he caught six passes for 107 yards.
For the Orange, quarterback A.J. Long made his starting debut while filling in for the injured Terrel Hunt. He threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions on 16-of-27 passing.
Wide receiver Steve Ishmael caught both touchdown passes as he totaled three catches for 93 yards. Prince Tyson-Gulley led the Orange in rushing with 80 yards on 16 carries.
