The #14 Texas A&M Aggies host the #3 Ole Miss Rebels as they look to avenge their loss against the Bulldogs from last week.
Texas A&M was stunned on the road in Week 6 when they lost 31-48 to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, ending their undefeated run and dropping them out of the top 10. But Kenny Hill is still one of the best playmaking QBs in the country and is still a Heisman trophy contender, so this is the kind of game where he might shine – especially now that he’s safe in the friendly confines of College Station as opposed to a hostile road environment.
The Ole Miss Rebels achieved one of the biggest upsets in team history when they topped the previously #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, sending themselves to the top 5 for the first time in years and dropping Alabama out of the top 5 at the same time. But the Rebels face a tough test on the road against an angry Aggies team that will have the full-throat of College Station behind them. No matter how good the Rebels defense is – and it is good – playing in College Station may be a tough task to manage.
Prediction: Texas A&M – The Aggies have so much offensive firepower that any team would struggle against them, but with Texas A&M playing in front of an excited, loud crowd as opposed to playing on the road, they take the edge in this game.
