The USC Trojans regained their form as they defeated the Arizona Wildcats to give them their first loss of the season and improve to 4-2.

USC traveled to Tucson to face No. 10 Arizona as they looked to recover from a shocking loss at home to Arizona State, and they redeemed themselves in a 28-26 win to deal the Wildcats their first loss of the season.
The Trojans led the Wildcats, 28-13, at the end of the third quarter. However, it appeared that the Trojans would give another game away as the Wildcats trimmed the lead to two points and set themselves up for a last-second field goal.
Wildcats kicker Casey Skowron had to make a 36-yard field goal to give his team the win, but he missed it as the Trojans escaped with a narrow victory.
USC running back Javorius Allen had his best performance of the season as he led the Trojans offense with 205 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries.
Trojans quarterback Cody Kessler threw his first interception of the season but also threw a touchdown pass as he completed 20-of-30 of his passes for 180 yards. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor caught seven passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.
For the Wildcats, quarterback Anu Solomon threw for 395 yards and a touchdown on 43-of-72 passing. Running back Jared Baker rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.
