No. 22 USC improved to 5-2 with a dominant performance against Colorado as they beat them, 56-28. USC quarterback Cody Kessler set a school record as he threw seven touchdown passes, and he threw for 319 yards on 19-of-26 passing.
All of his touchdown passes came in the first three quarters, and his first five came before halftime.
Trojans running back Javorius “Buck” Allen rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, and Justin Davis added 97 yards on 11 carries.
Wide receiver Nelson Agholor had a career day as he caught six passes for 128 yards and three touchdowns, and JuJu Smith added 104 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. Tight end Bryce Dixon caught two passes for 24 yards, and he made both of his catches count as they were touchdowns.
For the Buffaloes, quarterback Sefo Liufau threw for 143 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 23-of-35 passing. Wide receiver Nelson Spruce caught nine passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.
