Penn State is reeling as they are on a two-game losing streak, but they will have a prime opportunity to climb back into the Big Ten title race as they face No. 13 Ohio State.
The Nittany Lions lost to Michigan on the road, 18-13. Quarterback Christian Hackenberg has struggled in his sophomore season, throwing for just five touchdown passes against seven interceptions, and he broke a three-game streak without a touchdown pass against Michigan.
The budding quarterback will look to put together a signature performance against the Buckeyes, who are riding a four-game winning streak and have scored at least 50 points in each of those games.
Quarterback J.T. Barrett has helped the Buckeyes forget about the injured Braxton Miller, as he has thrown 20 touchdown passes against five interceptions. In his last three games, Barrett has not thrown a single interception.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott has also been a valuable asset to the Buckeyes offense, and he has rushed for 390 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games.
The Buckeyes have a plethora of weapons on offense and a powerful enough defense to hold the Nittany Lions. However, the Nittany Lions can stay competitive with their defense, which ranks sixth in the nation with 15.2 points per game allowed.
Prediction: Ohio State 35, Penn State 20
