Arizona State Stanford preview
Washington is coming off a 45-20 blowout loss to No. 6 Oregon, and they have another tough Pac-12 matchup ahead of them as they face No. 14 Arizona State.
The Huskies struggled to move the chains against Oregon as quarterback Cyler Miles was held to 147 passing yards on 19-of-28 passing with one touchdown pass and one interception.
Washington is currently 5-2, but they have lost each time they have played a ranked team. The Sun Devils are sure to make life difficult for them as well with their offense.
For Arizona State, Taylor Kelly will return as the starting quarterback after sitting out with a foot injury for three games. Mike Bercovici filled in for him admirably though.
The Sun Devils pushed Stanford out of the rankings with a 26-10 victory, and Bercovici threw for 245 yards and a touchdown pass on 23-of-33 passing against a top-ranked Stanford defense.
Kelly will provide somewhat of a boost for the Sun Devils offense with his return, as he threw six touchdown passes without an interception in his first three games before he went down with an injury.
The Sun Devils may receive a fight from the Huskies, but anything less than a win would be a surprise for a team that has a high-octane offense.
Prediction: Arizona State 34, Washington 21
