The Champions League and Europa League qualifying draws took place on Monday and the result was some thoroughly unglamorous ties for British clubs.
Scottish champions Celtic will face Icelandic counterparts Stjarnan in the second qualifying round of the Champions League, across two legs in the middle of July.
Celtic were beaten 2-1 by Slovenian club Maribor in the play-off round last season – the same stage at which Manchester United will enter the competition this campaign.

It is an earlier start for West Ham United, who qualified for the Europa League courtesy of their Fair Play record and begin life under new manager Slaven Bilic in the first round away at Andorran side FC Lusitans on July 2nd.
St Johnstone and fellow Scottish team Aberdeen take on Alashkert of Armenia and Macedonian side Shkendija respectively at the same stage of the long route to the group phase.
