Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston being selected with the first pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seems to be a done deal, but he will not be entering the draft without red flags.

Winston’s most obvious concern comes with rape allegations that have surrounded him since his Heisman Trophy and national championship season in 2013.
Despite this being an easy reason for the quarterback to have character concerns, Winston is also being viewed as a potential bust since he threw 18 interceptions in his sophomore season.
NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock pointed this out when he admitted that he would not take Winston with the first pick.
Winston also did himself no favors in the Rose Bowl, which featured an ugly blowout loss to Oregon. He committed two turnovers in that game.
His Pro Day has made him an even bigger favorite to be selected first though, and Marcus Mariota has plenty of concerns about his abilities.
