There was much excitement around Stamford Bridge last summer when Jose Mourinho returned as manager for his second spell at Chelsea.
However, 12 months on and a third-placed finish in the Premier League and no silverware and things need to improve for the 51-year-old.
As such Mourinho has entered the transfer market in a big way this summer, signing Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Filipe Luis and Didier Drogba for a combined £77.8m.
