Pogba has been a Premier League player before, during his time as a youngster at Manchester United after being signed in a controversial deal from French club Le Havre, but he was not used regularly enough by Sir Alex Ferguson to persuade Pogba to stay.
That has proven to be an error by the former Old Trafford chief, with Pogba flourishing as one of the best young players in world football since his move to Turin.
