West Brom are hoping to push ahead with a loan deal for Chelsea flop Victor Moses – according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Baggies were first linked with the 23-year-old last month but now want to conclude a deal with the start of the campaign just three weeks away.
Moses, 23, endured a disappointing campaign on-loan at Liverpool last year and failed to re-launch his career in the fashion he desired.
However, the Baggies Technical Director Terry Burton has installed the Nigeria international as the leading candidate to play on the club’s flanks.
Moses joined Chelsea for £9m in 2012 but has never managed to recapture the form that saw scores of scouts flocking to watch him at Wigan.
A temporary switch to the Midlands could ignite his career, however, the Baggies are also monitoring Middlesbrough’s Albert Adomah and free agent Jobi McAnuff, if they fail to get their primary target.
