Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba continues to be a source of transfer rumours, despite the Serie A side insisting that he is not for sale.
According to Metro, Chelsea will continue their pursuit of the French international while Manchester City will also enter the race.
Chelsea already tried to sign Pogba during the summer with a reported £73m offer, but they were rejected by Juventus.
The Blues will be facing even more competition in January, as Barcelona are also rumoured to be among the teams interested in signing the 22-year-old midfielder.
Chelsea are becoming more desperate to add quality to its struggling midfield, as they have fallen to 17th place in the Premier League standings.
Meanwhile, Man City are looking to keep a hold on first place. They are sure to be even more dangerous if star midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling are joined by Pogba.
It remains to be seen whether the defending Serie A champions will finally budge on a large offer for their midfielder though.
