Bayern have reportedly entered the race to sign Man United and Chelsea target Nicolas Otamendi.
The unsettled Valencia defender is understood to want out of the Mestalla this summer, but he returned to the club for pre-season duty earlier this week.

While he is still seemingly pushing for a move, the delay has allowed other parties to enter the race to rival the Premier League duo.
According to Superdeporte, as reported by Sky Sports, Bayern officials have only contacted the Argentinian’s representatives and not Valencia, which may well cause issues in their pursuit of him.
Nevertheless, both Man United and Chelsea will be monitoring the situation carefully as both Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho are looking to strengthen their defensive options.
Van Gaal failed in his bid to sign Sergio Ramos while Mourinho looks likely to be left disappointed in his pursuit of Everton ace John Stones.
As a result, Otamendi may well emerge as the most realistic target for both men as the new Premier League season continues to edge closer.
