Grealish currently earns £2,000-a-week at Villa Park and is contracted to the Birmingham side until the end of this season, which has seen speculation over his future increase.
However, despite the strong interest from some of the Premier League’s elite, the 19-year-old is set to stay where he is and sign a new deal that will see his weekly earnings increase to £20,000.
Grealish has recently signed up with the Stellar Group agency – who also represent other high profile stars such as Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Ashley Cole of AS Roma – and they are to convince Villa to give the teenager such a significant pay rise.
Paul Lambert is also keen to hold onto a player who has great potential and has been with the club since he was six-years-old.
The Scot believes staying put for the time being will be best for Grealish’s development, something that has been echoed by his assistant and Manchester United legend Roy Keane.
