Top-flight duo both interested in signing young Hamburg attacker, says agent.
Both Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United have made offers to sign promising young Hamburg forward Heung-min Son, according to the player’s agent, says Sky Sports.
The young South Korea international broke into the Bundesliga team’s youth academy aged just 16, before then rising into the Hamburg first team, where this season the striker has managed to net an impressive nine goals in just 21 matches for the club.
And, the 20-year-old’s agent has now confirmed the offers for his client, as well as stating that Serie A giants Inter Milan have also expressed an interest in signing Heung-min Son at the end of this season, although the Italian outfit have as yet failed to lodge an offer for the player with Hamburg.
“Inter Milan’s emissaries saw a couple of his matches, but so far I have not had any contact with the Italian club’s officials,” Thies Bliemeister, Heung-min Son’s agent, told Interlive.
“A transfer in the next summer? He has signed a new contract with Hamburg SV extending it for one year, but there have been many offers for him as from Manchester United and Chelsea.”
