After negotiations between Juve CEO Beppe Marotta and Pogba’s representatives Mino Raiola and Walid Ben Zefti, a new deal has been agreed for the services of the 21-year-old.
The France international is set to receive a significant pay rise and be awarded with a £3m-a-year contract that will keep him at the Juventus Stadium until 2019.
This will come as disappointing news to both the Blues and the Red Devils, who were among a number of Europe’s top sides that have been keeping tabs on Pogba.
For United this will be particularly frustrating as they actually allowed the Frenchman to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2012, with the midfield ace going onto be recognised as one of the best players in world football since.
Pogba has played 97 matches in all competitions since joining La Bianconeri and has also won back-to-back Serie A titles in that time.
