Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been fined £50,000 and handed a suspended one-match stadium ban by the Football Association.
The charge comes in relation to the comments made by the Portuguese tactician after his side’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton at Stamford Bridge prior to the international break, as seen below.

Mourinho has admitted to a breach of FA rules as his remarks constituted improper conduct as he alleged and implied that there was bias by the match official which serves as a case of bringing the game into disrepute, as reported by Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, his stadium ban will be exercised if he is found to have committed a further breach for any comment or statement to or through the media before October 13.
It has been a difficult start to the season for the reigning Premier League champions, who currently sit in 16th place in the table after eight games.
Chelsea have won just two games in the league so far, while they were defeated by Porto in their last Champions League outing.
As a result, the pressure is on Mourinho to turn things around after the international break, and he will hope to begin that process when his side host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Tim Sherwood’s side have also struggled this year as they are currently in the relegation zone, but the visitors will be aiming to cause another upset to claim just their second win of the campaign after seeing Ronald Koeman’s side produce a shock of their own and prove that it can be done.
