Blues boss comes to decision on goalkeeper.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has decided that Thibaut Courtois will be his new number one in goal this season, according to the Daily Mail.
The Portuguese tactician has had a selection headache in that position for much of the summer, with Courtois returning to Stamford Bridge after a highly impressive three seasons on loan with Atletico Madrid.
The young Belgian is now regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the world, and his fine form looks to have been enough to push Petr Cech down to the bench after a long and great career with the Blues since joining all the way back in 2004.
The Czech Republic international is now likely to attract interest from big clubs such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco before the end of the transfer window, as he is unlikely to settle for being on the bench after being first choice for so long.
