Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho remains confident that the Blues will sign one more player this summer to boost their chances of repeating.
“My feeling is that we’re going to have one. There is not only one good left-back in the football world. There are different options. We will decide when it is possible to decide,” Mourinho said, according to The Metro.
The Blues are still being linked with a £17.5m move for Augsburg defender Baba Rahman, as Mourinho is hoping to fill the hole created by Filipe Luis’s recent sale.
No deal for Rahman has been made official yet, but Chelsea are hoping to keep their defence strong after an outstanding performance last season.
The Blues conceded the fewest goals of all Premier League teams, which greatly aided their championship run.

Brazilian international Luis left Stamford Bridge after one season to return to Atletico Madrid, and the Blues have looked for a replacement since.
Meanwhile, they have so far been unsuccessful in their pursuit of Everton defender John Stones, as manager Roberto Martinez is reluctant to sell the 21-year-old.
Nonetheless, Chelsea expect to field another strong defence as they maintain quality goalkeeper depth with Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic.
Mourinho reaffirmed his committment to Chelsea last night, by penning a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
