Both players are attacking midfielders capable of creating goals for others and scoring themselves and have been at the heart of Leverkusen’s entertaining play under the management of former Red Bull Salzburg boss Roger Schmidt this season.
Turkish international Calhanoglu only signed for the club in the summer from struggling Hamburg, but he has settled brilliantly at the BayArena and formed a devastating creative partnership with Bellarabi.
