Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho remains confident in his team heading into the 2015-16 season.
However, he is hoping to see the Blues make one more signing, according to Sky Sports.
The Blues took home the 2014-15 Premier League title, as they led second-place Manchester City by eight points.
The Chelsea boss revealed which position he would like to see his team upgrade for next season.
“I am looking for a defender to finish this balance in our squad and after that we are ready to answer anything that can happen to our players,” Mourinho said.
The defending Premier League champions have plenty of reason to be optimistic about their defence.
They finished with the fewest goals conceded in the Premier League, which played a vital role in their title run.
The Blues are currently pursuing Everton defender John Stones, but they have already had their initial bid of £20m rejected.
They are expected to get back to Everton with a higher bid though.
