Mourinho is reportedly frustrated with both Cahill and Terry, after the pair were at fault for his side’s Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday evening.
The Blues conceded two goals from set pieces, with David Luiz and Thiago Silva heading in the decisive goals in the French side’s victory. The match finished 2-2 on the night at Stamford Bridge, 3-3 on aggregate, with Chelsea going out on away goals.
Madrid have their own problems at the back, after conceding four goals in their last game against Schalke, but would be willing to allow the 21-year-old Frenchman to leave the club for £30m next summer.
