Chelsea are ready to seal the deal for Galatasaray left-back Alex Telles, according to reports.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a new left-back after allowing the little-used Filipe Luis to rejoin Atletico Madrid just a year after he joined the Premier League club.
According to The Sun, Chelsea are understood to be keen to replace Luis with another Brazilian in Telles, but the Blues will reportedly face strong competition from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The report suggests Chelsea are plotting a £7m bid for the 22-year-old, however, it is understood the former Gremio man could struggle to gain a work permit as he is yet to make his international debut for Brazil.
Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for Augsburg starlet Baba Rahman, but it now seems Mourinho is keen to bring Telles into the club to challenge Cesar Azpilicueta for a starting spot at left-back.
