Chelsea are edging closer to completing a deal for Napoli attacker Jose Callejon, according to reports.
Callejon has been linked with a move away from the Serie A giants after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League under now Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez.
Liverpool are reported to have been keen on the Spanish international, however, Metro [via Fichajes] reports the 28-year-old has an offer to join the Premier League champions this summer.
The report suggests Arsenal are also keen in the former Real Madrid man, but Blues boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen to lure Callejon to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were reported to have been readying a £15.5m bid for Callejon, and it now appears the move a step closer.
Callejon scored 11 goals in 31 Serie A appearances for Napoli last season, but could not help the club stay in the Champions League.
The Partenopei finished fifth last term and will feature in the Europa League this season.
