Chelsea are keen on making a move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.
Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 giants following an incredible season in which the 24-year-old hit the back of the net 31 times in 40 matches.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool were linked with the French international, however Chelsea are now understood to be keen to bring to sign the striker following the Blues’ less than impressive start to the season.
According to Daily Star, the Blues are keen to offer Lyon £21m cash and fringe attacker Loic Remy in return for Lacazette.
The deal will be difficult, however, with Lacazette only recently penning a new deal to remain the club until 2019.
It means Chelsea will likely have to dig even further into its coffers to snare the signature of Lacazette, with Lyon highly unlikely to accept a cut-price deal for one of its most prized assets.
