The table-topping clash at the Emirates could see Chelsea become firm favourites to win a first Premier League title since 2010 if they can defeat the second-placed Gunners.
However, they may have to do so without Drogba who pulled out of a charity match in St. Etienne with an ankle injury, according to Daily Express.
Whilst Diego Costa and Loic Remy both missed the west London side’s 1-0 win over Manchester United over the weekend and Chelsea’s 1-0 over QPR the week before with fitness problems.
Writing on Twitter, Drogba said he was “disappointed not to be able to play the [charity match] because of an ankle injury” before denying the claims of one follower that he was simply pulling out to avoid injury before the end of the season.

Costa only returned to training this week, according to the Express, and will likely not be risked against the Gunners whilst Remy is still undergoing treatment for a calf problem.
