It was reported last month that the Catalan giants had made an €80m offer for the French international, but Juventus had rejected their advances.
That in turn alerted the likes of Chelsea and City to the situation, and it remains to be seen whether or not they are able to come in with an even bigger bid to convince the Serie A champions to part company with their prized asset.
However, it doesn’t appear as though Barcelona are going anywhere anytime soon as Enrique has revealed that he will discuss the transfer market with the club’s next President with the election taking place later this week.
“I don’t want to talk about players who aren’t at Barcelona,” Enrique said in a Press conference, as reported by Football Italia.
“That said, it doesn’t bother me that they’ve used my name in relation to him. He’s an interesting player, and I’ll be happy to discuss him next week, with whoever is the new President.”
Pogba is regarded as one of the top midfielders in Europe after establishing himself as a starter for Juve since arriving on a free transfer from Man United three years ago.
