Chelsea have denied claims of a training ground bust-up between John Terry and Diego Costa, according to reports.
Former England international and talkSport pundit Stan Collymore alleged that Terry and Costa were involved in a training ground altercation, however, the Daily Mail reports Chelsea have vehemently denied the claims.
The former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest has apologised and retracted the statement.
Chelsea have begun its title defence in woeful fashion and currently sit in 17th place on the Premier League table.
The Blues suffered its second defeat on the trot following a 3-1 loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, but Jose Mourinho’s side have a chance to get back to winning ways against Maccabi Tel Aviv in its Champions League opener on Wednesday.
The Premier League champions then face a tough battle against London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
