Blues boss Jose Mourinho is supposedly ready to add Barcelona misfit Alex Song to his squad in the next transfer window, with the former Cameroon international likely to be available this summer.
Manchester City are also said to be interested in Song, who has impressed in the Premier League this season in a season-long loan spell with West Ham United.
The Hammers don’t look likely to keep Song permanently, but bigger clubs now seem to be on alert for the former Gunners star, who was a key first-team figure during his time at the Emirates Stadium.
Still, he has not managed to establish himself at the Nou Camp and is likely to be granted a move away from the club this summer, possibly heading back to England.
