Chelsea will face major competition in the hunt for Augsburg starlet Baba Rahman, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly keen in signing the Ghanaian.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is in search for a left-back following the departure of Felipe Luis and has been heavily linked with a move for Rahman in recent weeks.
The Daily Mail reports Chelsea have been in talks with Galatasaray over star left-back Alex Telles, who at £7m is a cheaper replacement than the £15m-rated Rahman.
The report suggests the Blues are still in talks with Augsburg over the transfer of Rahman, but the clubs are understood to be struggling to reach an agreement in terms of a transfer fee.
Rahman is keen to join Chelsea, however, The Daily Mail reports that European giants PSG and Juventus are also keen on the 21-year-old.
PSG certainly have the financial clout to match Augsburg’s valuation of the player and the Ligue 1 giants could be in the market for a left-back should Lucas Digne join Liverpool.
