Chelsea have reportedly failed in their pursuit of PSG defender Marquinhos after the French giants rejected two bids from Jose Mourinho.
The Premier League champions are in the market for a defender still, and have had to switch their attention away from Everton star John Stones.

While the Blues reportedly had three bids rejected by the Toffees for the 21-year-old, they have now had two bids rejected by PSG for their Brazilian defender, according to Sky Sports.
It is reported that Chelsea offered between €35m-55m for the centre-back, but they have been turned away on both occasions.
Marquinhos is regarded as one of the most talented defenders in Europe, having previously rose to fame with Roma two years ago.
Given PSG also have Thiago Silva and David Luiz at the club, it would appear as though that they could have one too many Brazilian defenders on their books.
However, Laurent Blanc clearly wants to keep hold of the trio, and that means Chelsea are unlikely to be successful in their bid for their 21-year-old target.
