A new report from Diet Chef has given some illuminating results, and potentially worrying statistics about the health and well-being of Premier League football fans, claims the Daily Mail.
Not only does being a football fan effect relationships, it also effects nearly all aspects of physical health – as well as a supporter’s finances.
Here’s some of the most eye-catching results:
Arsenal: 63% of Gunners are likely to put their football club ahead of their spouses.
Chelsea: 48% of Blues admit to drinking during match-day, with the average fan consuming around four pints.
West Ham: Hammers fans are the country’s biggest gamblers. On average a West Ham fan gambles £25 on match-day.
West Ham: Oh dear… Hammers fans are also the biggest smokers, with 35% of supporters having a cigarette on a Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United: 52% of United fans eat takeaway at least three times a week.
Manchester City: 32% of fans admit to gaining considerable weight during the football season.
Tottenham: 23% of Spurs supporters admit that football affects their sex lives!
