Chelsea have reportedly agreed to a deal to bring 19-year-old Fluminese forward Robert Kenedy to Stamford Bridge on a £6.3 million deal.
According to the Metro, Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento (commonly known as Kenedy) will reportedly join the Blues after his rights were sold to an investment firm, with Kenedy’s agent, a bank and Fluminese all sharing portions of the transfer fee. The teenage star has 5 goals for the Brazilian club as well as 6 goals for Brazil’s U16 National team and 1 goal for Brazil’s U20 National team.
The move will serve as a significant investment for the Blues, who are poised to lose one of their own wonderkids to Arsenal this summer. Kenedy had reportedly received offers from Barcelona and other European teams, but the young stud will get his chance with Jose Mourinho should the deal be finalized.
