The Colombian international hasn’t enjoyed a successful spell at Stamford Bridge since arriving in January, which in turn led to suggestions that the Premier League champions would cut their losses this summer.
However, it is expected that they will keep faith in him and hope for improvements next season, with Cuadrado’s agent insisting that he is still happy with his current surroundings.
“Juan is fine at Chelsea for now, we’ll see about later,” Alessandro Lucci told Sky, as reported by Football Italia.
“He’s happy, and the club is happy with him, so for now we’re comfortable.”
The 27-year-old was a consistent performer for Fiorentina before his move to England, and so a return to Italy would arguably be an appealing option for him to get his career back on track.
Nevertheless, it appears as though he is determined to turn things around under Jose Mourinho and will hope that his decision pays off with a bigger influence for the defending champions when the new campaign gets underway in August.
